Mr Laurent Contat joined the Bar in 2023 after almost 13 years in the criminal justice system, first as an investigating judge and then as a public prosecutor. His area of expertise is therefore criminal law, including juvenile criminal law, criminal procedure and international mutual assistance in criminal matters. In these areas, he represents both victims and defendants with motivation and expertise.
Mr Contat is also active in administrative law, particularly road traffic law and immigration law.
A former member of the legal committee of Antidoping Switzerland (now SSI), Mr. Laurent Contat also willingly handles cases in the field of doping. He receives his clients in Lausanne and Yverdon-les-Bains.
